In New Zealand there is a concrete structure towering over Auckland and that is.....the Sky Tower! It's 328 metres tall with 360 degrees views and has thick glass it's also iconic to the structure. The tower is a tourist attraction, it was built in 1995-1997 making 20 years in 2017. In the inside starting at the top: The upper observation deck which is the highest floor then 4 levels of communications equipment and lifts, next the sugar club restaurant and the SkyWalk. One floor down the Orbit revolving restaurant. The floor beneath it is the main observation deck and under it is the lower observation deck. The next two floors are fire refuge decks and under are the lifts.
The Sky Tower was 76m$NZD, 2000 tonnes of reinforcing steel and 660 tonnes of structural steel.
FACT: The tower is taller than the Eiffel Tower with a 8 metre difference, at night it will glow and during the day it will peek the Auckland Skyline.
